D & O Concepts was incorporated in 1989, as a successor to Directors and Officers Insurance Concepts, Inc. which was formed in 1982. As partner in the original, and sole owner of the current company, Mr. Ratner has a long established history of providing technical knowledge and superior marketing to retail brokers and agents. Prior to these equity positions he functioned for many years as an underwriter and Assistant Vice President for AIG, the largest writer of D & O liability insurance in the world. This experience paved the way for Mr. Ratner's later success as a broker and wholesaler specializing in professional liability coverages.

D & O Concepts is an independent nationwide full service agency licensed in many states throughout the country. Most importantly, D & O Concepts has a complete network of insurance providers in place. These insurers presently support D & O Concepts in numerous lines of coverage.
