Even when employment practices lawsuits aren't making headlines,
they are creating a negative impact on the financial well being and the reputation of organizations nationwide. Lawsuits alleging discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual
harassment, or a violation of multiple federal, state and local statutes continue to grow in both frequency and severity.
In a seemingly self-propagating cycle, employment practices liability suits lead to new legal precedents, new areas of exposure and ever-larger settlements and judgements
that attract yet more plaintiffs' attorneys to the arena. Companies are even being sued more often by non-employee third parties, including customers and clients, who
allege discrimination and harassment.
